Often men's voices are not heard, particularly concerning the subject of childhood sexual abuse. Learning more about the experiences of males who have spoken about their abuse, and sought support is a vital step towards advancing knowledge and understanding of this area.

By participating in this research you can provide valuable information about your experiences whether you have sought help or not. This will help improve understanding of the experiences of male survivors and the aspects involved in the process of help-seeking for males.

Specialist websites provide key support for male sexual abuse survivors?

I read this summery of research with interest and wondered whether men would rather access on-line support rather than speak with someone face to face. I know both have advantages - and online things can be shared anonymously.

This also links to what I aim to explore with my research - How and when do men decide to seek help? Where to they go? Are they aware of the support available - If you would like to share your experiences of seeking help I would very much like to hear from you.
